Academic freedom under attack in Hungary

On Friday March 8th, International Women’s Day, Judit Takacs of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, will speak on her research on Hungarian LGBTQ history and answer questions about the current state of academic freedom in Hungary. Academic freedom is under attack there, and those in Gender, Sexuality, and Queer Studies feel it already.

Disciplining Gender and (Homo)Sexuality in Hungary
